I have purchased 3 of these and am very pleased. 2 of them are hooked up to electrical outlet. 1 is hooked up with 12 v battery. I am using a senior feed in one, and oats/alfalfa pellets in the others. I have not had any problems with them. I would not use a sweet feed in them, it might get too sticky.
